Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering (SVCE), established in the year 2001, is a recognized Engineering Institution in Bengaluru, offering quality holistic technical education. SVCE is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), under Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, affiliated under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education (MHE) and the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Karnataka. SVCE offers various UG, PG and PhD degree programs. The UG programs offered are Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) courses in branches namely Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Science & Engineering (ISE), Computer Science in Artificial Engineering (CS-AI), Computer Science in Data Science (CS-DS), Computer Science in Cyber Security (CS-CY), Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The PG programs are the M.Tech in Structural Engineering, Master of Computer Application (MCA) program and MBA program offering specializations in HR, Marketing and Finance.
SVCE is equipped with 440 kW capacity solar power generation unit, the excess power generated is supplied to grid. MSME, Govt. of India has approved for setting up of Business Incubator. SVCE has established IIC cell supported by MHRD innovation cell and AICTE, New Delhi. The institute has also received research grants from ISRO, DST, AICTE, KSCST, VGST and other funding agencies.
