General Conduct and Responsibility:

Follow the Daily Routine: Adhere to the hostel’s daily schedule and institute routine unless exempted for medical reasons.

Maintain Discipline: Behave respectfully towards fellow residents, staff, and property.

Respect Privacy and Property: Avoid disturbing others with excessive noise, and do not damage or steal hostel property.

Cleanliness: Keep your room and common areas tidy and clean. 

Communication: Communicate effectively and promptly with hostel authorities regarding any issues or concerns. 

Be Considerate: Be mindful of others and their needs, and avoid actions that could cause inconvenience or discomfort. 

Personal Belongings: Be responsible for the safe custody of your belongings. 

Health: Report any illness or symptoms to the hostel authorities promptly. 

Specific Rules and Regulations:

Guests: GUESTs / Day Scholars are Strictly NOT PERMITTED at any time, Strict action will be taken for violation. 

Prohibited Items: Do not keep or use firearms, narcotics, alcohol, or other intoxicants in the hostel premises.

Smoking and Alcohol: Smoking and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited.

Ragging: Ragging is strictly prohibited and will result in severe disciplinary action. 

Noise: Avoid loud music, singing, or shouting that could disturb others.

Room Allotment: Students must occupy their assigned rooms and vacate them according to the prescribed time.

Notice Board: Regularly check the hostel notice board for important announcements and instructions. 

Mess: Be a responsible mess member, maintain discipline during meals, and inform the mess staff if you won’t be eating.

Damage to Property: Any damage to hostel property will be charged to the occupants of the room/block. 

Electrical Appliances: Use of certain electrical appliances (e.g., immersion rods, heaters, irons) may be restricted.

Late Entry/Exit: Students should obtain permission for late entry or exit from the hostel.

Identity Card: Carry your identity card at all times and be prepared to show it upon request.
