Admission Terms
Eligibility:Minimum Academic Qualification: Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (12th Standard) or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Subject Requirements: Applicants must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the following subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry (or Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science, depending on the college)
Entrance Exams:
BE (Bachelor of Engineering) Programs: Admission to most BE programs in Karnataka is based on entrance exam scores. The primary exams are:
COMEDK UGET ( Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges Undergraduate Entrance Test): This exam is accepted by several private engineering colleges in Karnataka.
KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test): This entrance exam is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to government and some private engineering colleges in the state.
M.Tech (Master of Technology) Programs: Admission to M.Tech programs is based on scores obtained in national or state-level postgraduate entrance exams. Common exams accepted are: GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering): This national-level exam is widely accepted by M.Tech programs across India.
Karnataka PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test): This state-level exam is conducted by KEA for admission to M.Tech programs in some Karnataka universities.
Application Process:
There are two primary application routes for engineering programs in Karnataka:
Entrance Exam Based Admissions: Students seeking admission through COMEDK UGET or KCET must apply for these exams separately and then participate in the centralized counselling process conducted by the respective exam authorities. Following the counselling process, shortlisted candidates can get admission offers from participating colleges based on their rank and seat availability.
Management Quota Admissions: our college may offer a limited number of seats under the management quota. These seats are filled based on the college’s individual criteria, which might include selection based on previous academic performance.
Financial Terms
Scholarships: Various scholarships are available, including AICTE Saksham Scholarship for differently-abled students, Pragati Scholarship for Girls, and AICTE PG (GATE/GPAT) Scholarship for postgraduate students.
Fee Waivers: As per based on the Government Guidlines.
Refund Policy: Refunds are subject to the college’s refund policy. Typically, refunds are not provided after a certain date or once the academic term has begun.
