SVCE is committed to the physical and mental well-being of all students, faculty, and staff. The campus houses a fully equipped medical room with trained medical personnel available during working hours to address day-to-day health needs. Services include emergency first aid, routine health check-ups, and basic medications. In addition, the institution offers student counseling and mental wellness support, while maintaining partnerships with reputed hospitals nearby for advanced medical assistance. These efforts ensure a safe and supportive healthcare ecosystem within the campus.

INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE (ICC)

The Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) is established in accordance with UGC regulations to address issues related to sexual harassment of women at the workplace, ensuring strict confidentiality and unbiased resolution. The committee provides a safe platform for students and staff to report grievances, assures timely intervention, and guarantees protection against retaliation. Regular gender sensitization workshops, awareness sessions, and interactive campaigns are conducted to create a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and inclusivity.

ANTI RAGGING CELL

SVCE enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, ensuring that every student is welcomed into a friendly and respectful atmosphere. The Anti-Ragging Cell functions under the guidelines of the UGC and AICTE, vigilantly monitoring student behavior on and off campus. Students can report incidents through anonymous mechanisms, and severe disciplinary action is taken against perpetrators. The college also organizes orientation programs, legal awareness sessions, and peer mentoring initiatives to educate students about the consequences of ragging and encourage a spirit of camaraderie.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CELL (EOC)

The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) is formed to uphold the principles of social justice and equal access in academics and campus life. It works to eliminate discrimination and ensure that students from economically weaker sections, minority communities, and other underrepresented groups receive fair opportunities to thrive. The EOC conducts skill-building workshops, capacity development programs, soft skills training, and provides ongoing mentorship to help students overcome barriers and achieve holistic growth. It fosters an environment where diversity is celebrated and inclusion is the norm.

SOCIALLY AND EDUCATIONALLY DISADVANTAGED GROUP (SEDG) Cell

The SEDG Cell at SVCE is specifically designed to support students from Socially and Educationally Disadvantaged Groups by offering targeted academic, emotional, and financial guidance. The cell identifies the unique challenges faced by these students and implements mentoring schemes, bridge courses, scholarships guidance, and remedial classes to enhance their learning outcomes. It also encourages active participation in co-curricular and leadership activities, enabling them to build confidence and integrate fully into the academic community.
