Dr.Bama S received her UG degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Institution of Engineers (India) in the year 2002 & PG in Communication Systems  Engineering from Anna University  in the year 2004 and PhD in Image Processing from Anna University Chennai during 2018.

She has worked as Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor in various Institutions  and Deemed University and gained 15 Years of Teaching and Research Experience.

Also, She worked as CRM Project Coordinator at Abudhabi International Airport Catering, UAE and coordinated the successful   launching of Golden Class Meet and Assist service of Airport  along with Solution Middle East (LLC) during the period of Dec’ 2005 to Sep’ 2007.

During her PG she published her research work on Gabor Wavelet Transform in Springer journal and gained  research citations of 125.

She has Published around 20 papers in journals including Q1, as well as presented papers in national and International conferences. She is a life member of Institution of Engineers  IEI and IETE. She acted as IETE coordinator at Institute level for 8 Years and organized various activities including Debates, IETE  Students Day Programs, National level seminars, In-house Training Programs etc  to upgrade the learners.

Acted as session chair in conferences, delivered Guest lectures in Anna University sponsored FDPs. Also acted as session chair and reviewers for various  Sci and Scopus indexed journals including IEEE Transactions,  and organized and coordinated  national level symposiums, conferences, Institutional level  functions including Convocation, Club activities.

She got exposed to various accreditations committees such as NBA, NAAC as well as ABET. Took part in syllabus Framing and Revision for the Communication and Networking Module at KARE during her period of June 2018 to June 2021. Actively involved in Teaching, Research and Mentoring the students.
