Dr. Latha M S currently working as Professor & Head of Civil Engineering Department at Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering, since 2005. Holds Mater degree of Structural Engineering from Bangalore University and Doctoral degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The area of interest includes sustainable Materials, Composite, Masonry Behaviour, Earthquake analysis, microanalysis study of concrete.

Has published around 30+ papers in national / international journals and conferences and reviewer of many Journals and the most prior Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering, a Springer Publication. Published Reference Books Titled as Sustainable Material Construction, Design of Masonry Structures. And Life member of ISTE, ICI, IEI. She has also filed and published a patent with civil engineering students in our Institution. She is been successful is receiving grants and awards from DST, VGST and KSTA.
