Mr. Shridhar Deshpande is an assistant professor in the mechanical engineering department. He is a dynamic professional with over 17 years of experience in design engineering and project management, including four years in the aerospace and automotive industries, three years in R&D, and ten years in teaching. He is skilled in planning and controlling design and manufacturing operations, as well as conceptualising and implementing process initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity. Embrace expertise in designing systems and implementing processes that will enable organisations to consistently meet customer needs and enhance customer satisfaction. Being an effective communicator with excellent relationship management skills and strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities, Possesses a flexible attitude and an eye for detail.
Prof. Shridhar Deshpande is the recipient of national and international awards, including the “Exceptional Achievement” Award from the EMG-SSM Trust Global Academic in 2022. and the “Best Researcher of 2018” award In 2018, RULA International presented an award for outstanding contribution to research and co-curricular activities.
Prof. Shridhar Deshpande More than ten research papers have been published in peer-reviewed leading international journals, and more than five papers have been presented at national and international conferences.He has published 03 patents and guided many UG and PG award-winning student projects.
Prof. Shridhar Deshpande has various coordination responsibilities, like the coordination of the Entrepreneur Development Cell, the Bosch Sponsored Skill Enhancement Program, and the MSME Innovation Cell. As an Innovation Ambassador, he represents the Industry Innovation Council.
